Nominations will be taken at the September Membership Meeting

**ALL MEMBERS SHOULD RECEIVE A POSTCARD IN THE MAIL AS OFFICIAL NOTICE OF THE CWA LOCAL 6132 OFFICER NOMINATIONS. IF YOU ARE NOT RECEIVING MAIL FROM THE LOCAL PLEASE FOLLOW THIS LINK TO SUBMIT AN ADDRESS CORRECTION**
The President and Secretary-Treasurer are at-large positions and any member of the local in good standing can be nominated.
The First Vice President must be nominated and elected by members in AT&T Mobility and the various Print Sector bargaining units.
The Second Vice President must be nominated and elected by members in AT&T Southwest, AT&T National Internet Services, Verizon, Frontier, and Avaya bargaining units.
There shall be three (3) Chief Steward positions that must be nominated and elected by members of the AT&T Southwest bargaining units. Geographical jurisdiction shall be determined by the Executive Board to ensure equal representation.
There shall be two (2) Chief Stewards representing AT&T Mobility. Geographical jurisdiction shall be determined by the Executive Board to ensure equal representation.
All Chief Stewards shall be nominated and elected by the respective groups they will be representing and must work in one of those groups.
Write-in votes are prohibited.
Nominations for the offices of President, Secretary-Treasurer, 1st Vice President & 2nd Vice President shall also constitute a nomination of the same person as a delegate to all CWA Conventions held during the three-year term.
All nominees must be present to accept the nominations or submit a letter of acceptance prior to the nomination process.
Due to the current restrictions for gatherings in the city of Austin, the September membership meeting will again be held in the parking lot of the union hall at 609 Canion St., Austin, TX 78752.
Please find a parking spot once you arrive.
Someone will come to your car to have you sign in, and to give you the FM frequency we will be broadcasting over.
There will be a microphone set up to allow members to post questions, motions and to submit nominations.
Please remember to wear your masks and maintain social distancing.
Members will be asked to remain in their automobiles unless conducting business at the microphone.
Members are also asked to refrain from entering the union hall.
